Anyways i paid for it on friday and there was no communication from them. i sent emails daily to get no response. Well today i go to their website to track my order and my status was listed as "pending" so i send them a very nasty email then tried to call them but no answer. well about 20 minutes ago i get an email telling me how sorry they are and that they have been without power due to hurricane wilma and that the server they use was also down. So now i feel like an ***. i did apologize for being a dick tho.

they are in plantation so they were without power from monday 9am-yesterday sometime. but yeah man paying on friday and going off that quick was jumping the gun a bit. You're well justified.

Too many of those ebay electronics "dealers" screw the crap out of their customers daily. The result is a hostile customer-base. Either they need to get more customer-focussed or buck up and learn to deal with nastygrams from customers.

Plus, like Squeak said, you had no way of knowing their situation. If they emailed you back, they could've easily spent a little extra time emailing ALL their pending customers to let them know about the possible delay in processing due to *blah blah blah*.

i jad one of these alpine's before but i sold it when i got my 9835--regretted selling it because it was the best deck i ever owned. i have bid on dozens of used ones on ebay but was never able to win one so when i saw this BNIB one with buy-it now...it was all me.

well i usually am very patient but they demand payment very quickly so in return i expect to be informed quickly. Commerce is a two-way street.
