Well, there was some talk last week about starting up the raffle again, and I think it is a good idea.

This thread is for any comments regarding the raffle, your opinions on whether or not to have it, etc. Tentatively the tickets will go on sale this Wednesday evening at 7:00pm eastern time.

This time and date assumes that there is enough interest, as determined by this thread.

For those of you new to the board since I stopped running a monthly raffle, the main idea is that you send money to me ($3 per ticket) for an entry into a raffle. There is a limit of 5 tickets per person, and 100 per raffle. Once all the tickets are sold I draw quite literally out of a hat (video tape and post it) a number, and that person gets to choose from a list of prizes that are designated prior to the beginning of the raffle. Prizes range in price generally from $240-$260, which is the maximum that 100 tickets can buy after paypal fees and shipping charges.
