not reading disc

I just bought a new Concept indash dvd player. Ive had it installed for about 4 days now with now trouble. Today it won't play music cds or dvds. I thought about cleaning the lens but i dont think thats the problem. It sounds like the disc is spinning but stopping. Any suggestions? Thanks

If it sounds like the disc is stopping then you might need to just lube the rotating mechanisms. To do this, simply apply a heavy amount of motor oil to a blank disk (I like to use 15W-50, nice 'n thick.) Then insert the CD, and allow it to lubricate the players internal parts.

This should solve your problem.

wtf why would i put motor oil in my dvd player? if i did do that it would most defiantly void any type of warrentee i have. I personally don't know what that will do inside the headunit and am actually not wanting to try that. i don't want to improperly do it and have it totally be ****ed up.
