Is there any single sub 12inch is acceptable, 15 doesn't seem to keep up with teh beats i listen to techno but i also listen to some low bass. If there is a 15 that can do it let me know. But what setup if any on the market that could beat 3 10w0's in spl (if you call it that not too loud) and also SQ? Keep in mind i only have a jl 500/1 so no power hungary subs. Or am i better goign with 2 quality 10's? I only have about 3-3.5 cu ft which is stretching it a bit.

have you considered a JL 10W7. it would match perfectly to that amp and it should cover the 3 10W0's in deeper bass and in SPL if done correctly. JL has the HO (high output) prefabed boxes with a single 10W7 in it already. Then you would have the best box for the sub and a great amp for the sub, and as a final result, great sound.

ok now lets try to keep the sub from blowing through his trunk lid. 500 watts rms would be plenty to rock all day long with that sub.
