Not a fair bailout for all?

The questions are tougher, in part, because there aren't many who are happy with how the FI bailouts have turned out.

i was never for the bailout in the first place. I say that people should distribute that 700 Billion what is now probably over a TRILLION to the people in the states. Every man, woman, and child should get like 150,000? Something along that. THAT, would stimulate the economy. People would refinance their homes, buy new cars, and just spend more. The way we are doing it right now is a total failure. All people right now are just handing it to those money-hungry corporations. Then, they are having partys with all this money, and the senate, congress and president have no clue about it, because they dont track that money at all! It is really P*SSING me off. Now, the big 3 have nothing! The big 3 is more than just the big 3. It provides MANY jobs in the midwest. People are getting laid off because of the time. People that make tires, lights, and even parts. In my area, there are many factories that provide those things to the Big 3. If the Big 3 goes under, hello end of the U.S. IMO

Well this isn't the USSR so I don't know about distributing 150k to everyone.

AP said:
MORAINE, Ohio (AP) — General Motors Corp.'s financial woes have GM workers around the country worrying about what life without GM might be like. The 1,080 hourly workers at the automaker's sport utility plant in this Dayton suburb are about to find out. For them, life without GM begins Tuesday.
yay!

You do realize giving everybody the same thing means giving everybody nothing. Why doesn't everybody just take out a 150k loan so there's no confusion?

That was the type of pose I was going for. You are observant one. I guess people on here are too dense to realize the difference between a pose and an actual picture.

FI = Financial Insitution

$700,000,000,000/300,000,000 people = ~$2300/person

The reason the bailout hasn't worked is because the FI's are sitting on the money. They need to represent their shareholders, which for them means maintaining Tier 1 Capital Ratio and other metrics to ensure finanical stability (or the appearance of such) during shaky times. Essentially the banks are being asked to forget about the share holder, and instead keep credit flowing to help increase spending and re-gain consumer confidence. In short: dream on.
