Norton Anti Virus....Downloads???

Well I just saw the thread about spyware and I thought to myself maybe I need this. Well after downloading it I ran the check and I was all good to go. On my other computer, not this one, this one is my laptop it has Norton Anti Virus. Is there a way I can download a program similar to Norton, that I dont have to pay, and if not can I just download norton...cough cough....illegally....cough cough

Norton is crap, however the corporate version is a bare-GUI version of the bloated one used today. If you're going to pirate, get the corporate version.

The only times my computer has ever got a virus was when Norton's was installed.

Norton's is also a terrible resource hog and will slow your system down, it will also increase your boot times.

It is almost impossible to completely remove Norton's from your computer due to its shitty uninstaller.

Its a bad program.

I use AVG right now, I got it from piratebay.org. Its simple, effective and doesn't slow your system down.
