Normal???

i have 2 12" jl w0's in a sealed box and i just got em like 2 monthes ago and whenever i open the trunk to listen to em the bass sounds good i guess but it makes a noise when i go up close to it it sounds like ( its really hard to explain in words ) like somehting is loose it makes a ring noise to it when i stand up and listen to it its not there but when i go level with it it makes the bass and also that noise the noise is also a high pitch noise but not really high high like an alarm or somethin ...could it be since its really really cold here this winter ( chicago ) that the cold is effectin it in anyway ? if not could u tell me what u think it might be ...... sorry what im tryin to say is really hard to say

i don't know what it sound like exactly so i'm guessing either you need sound damping or you need a better box.

it could be that alternator noise

Or maybe a leak in the box, check the wires and make sure power/ground arent near the rca's, maybe look into a noise filter
