Message: <blockquote data-quote="IgnoreMe" data-source="post: 609596" data-attributes="member: 551352"><p>imo it gives a better seal to not predrill the holes for the subwoofer. when you are costructing your box you predrill because you are goin into the mdf sideways, so you predrill to keep it from splitting. but for the sub you go straight into the wood from the front. so far every box ive built without predrillin for the subwoofer holes, held the sub more securly (imo) and there was no splitting whatsoever. i examined this after removing the sub and everytime it was all good. just my opinon, take it for what its worth</p></blockquote><p></p>
