Dirt Road Cruzin'
Thought I'd make my introduction and first post here in the Introduction thread. Anyways I'm from western South Dakota, 20 yrs. old, grew up and worked on the family farm and ranch all my life. I went through a local tech school up here in Rapid City and graduated this spring with my Associates Degree in Collision Repair Technology. I've done plenty of painting and airbrush work since school. I also worked part time in a body in Rapid City as well for about 8 mos. I've repainted a couple cars myself, done some small airbrushing work and painted a couple dashes out of pickups, including my own pickup.
Main reason for registering to this thread is to learn more about car audio systems, get technical help on any questions I may have, and to maybe pick up new friends and have a great time here. Currently a member on the GMFullsize.com and Chevy Truck World.com forums.
My own vehicle is a 2001 Silverado, I have a simple yet effective system in it. I got two JL w1s in a downfiring OBCON box under the backseat powered by a MTX 900 watt amp. JL component speakers in the front doors powered by a 4ch. JL amp (soon to be powered more JLs in the back doors), and got a JVC headunit with USB input.
