Say I had a friend who has an Explorer. And he just cares about getting loud, he is concerned with sq only a very little bit. So say with 1500 watts, and quite a bit of room in the Explorer, what dual 15" setup should be ideal?
I figured someone would think that. I am a sql man.And dont say "i have afriend who"
Just asy "I have an explorer and I want to go boom boom boom"
More wattage. You can get a good SQL setup, but without one HELL of a box, or some HELL of nice equipment, high *** SPL wont be accomplished with 1500w
I say nice ported box, two AudioQue HD15s, or XXX15s, Brahma 15s, or DD 9515s would do the trick
Note that I did add in "without one hell of a box"... which is kinda true. The install has plenty to do with it, sure. And I'm not saying it cant be done, but without fairly good knowledge of car audio, it aint happenin.it can very well be done. given a good install someone should be very capable of hitting 150 db's in an explorer with 1500 watts rms. what is your budget? i would go for 2 sx's in a big *** ported box.
With only 1500rms?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifSay I had a friend who has an Explorer.
