Im just seein if anyone loves to play Holdem. Ive been playin a couple years now, mostly tournys and am starting to get hooked on cash games. Just seein if anyone likes to play.

Also anyone around the Chicago area that likes to play, I know of some great games to play at. Let me know if interested.

Friday nights after we close up our restaurant, my coworkers have a game. I've been going for about a year at least twice a month. It's fun, but I haven't gotten hooked.

EDIT: Is $40-$80 buy in low? We get around $800 on the table on big nights.

Out here I got a guy thats doin a $80 buyin tourny twice a month. The winner of each one advances to a tourny in June and the winner of that tourny gets a seat into the 2007 W.S.O.P. Should be pretty good. We got this charity event out here called the Rockford charitable event. Its good. They got all the cash games from $1-$3 limit holdem and from $1-$2 - $10-$20 no limit. Also alot of $50-$100 10 person tournys. Fun times.

Yeah, Texas is probably the best. Pretty nice seeing as how it made it so big couple years ago. I remember playing before most people (around my age anyways) even knew forms outside of 5 Card Draw.

$80 buyins are pretty decent for local games around here. 20-30 people=$2400. Makes some decent money.

I myself cannot stand limit holdem, especially low limits.

I play quite a bit in casinos. Played 4 times this past week (once in a home game). I actually prefer low limit (4-8-8). Surprisingly, I have found that, on average, I can make more money at limit than no limit.
