eD may have had shitty business practices in the past, but from my experience they build a **** good product and their customer service has been friendly to me so far.

I had a NINe.5 and it was a very solid amp, and I've had a few eD subs and they did sounded pretty **** good for their cost.

From what I understand eD ripped a lot of people off a few years ago with a "pre-sale" or something along those lines, which I can understand why it would piss a lot of people off and keep you away from doing business with them again..

But.....I've NEVER had a problem with them so far and for the amount of (clean) power you get, not to mention a 5-year warranty, the NINe.2x simply can't be beat for the $$.

I never understood why all the hate, but I am sure it is somewhat merited.

I could use a nice 2 channel amp, but i have my heart set on an Eclipse XA2000.
