These are not the same because they are two different Prototypes. The one with the chrome motor is the V1. The other one is production prototype motor (basically a production NS motor with a pole vent). Jake epoxied the pole vent shut and added basket spacers. I don't know what the basket is from, but the cone is all production Nightshade. Both have different coils. The chrome one is DVC .7 and the other is DVC 2. The cones are different on both of them too. Jake could give you guys much more detail than me. The V1 is pretty musical for a SPL driver but I haven't tested them both. I have to go fix the box I've been using until I get one built. Once I have the new one I'll be able to do some serious testing. Yes. I think the V1 is 3/4" and the other one is 1" but I could be wrong.

Jake designed the motor himself. Everything else is from RE including the recone.

Yeah I like the blue basket one as well.I think it looks beefy and not all cluttered by those spokes.And the cooling feature kicks ass!Can't wait to get my IA DR's.....ohhhhh yeahhhhh!
