I agree that those are great speakers. ryanbssc29, With a nice budget like that, have you considered an active system using raw diy drivers? Mids: SEAS EXCEL NEXTEL - $115.10 each http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=1298710.14743&pid=1939 World class drivers used in some high end home speakers. Tweets: SEAS 27 _ _ _ _ _ - $28.95 each http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=1298710.14743&pid=2138 http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=1298710.14743&pid=2135 There is a lot of talk about this tweeter. Rear Fill: SEAS CA15RLY -$50.70 each http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=1298710.14743&pid=1044 Can use any decent set back there. I suggested just a mid because I don't like full range rear speakers unless it is a DSP surround sound system. Too much high end pulls the image to the rear of the car as the speakers are pretty close to your ears. I would not run the speakers higher than 4-6KHz. Crossover: AUDIO CONTROL 24xs My guess is you will need a crossover to high pass the mids if your deck does not have it built in. This is a nice unit. My guess is you plan to run the DIAMOND D6 amps to power these? If so that is good as they have a built in X-over that goes high enough to cover the 2-4KHz range.
