Building your own box can save quite a bit of money.. Also remember to include all wiring/accessories in your budget though..it adds up. For a budget subwoofer, I recommend Mach5audio. Great woofers for the price. They have 10"-18" subs, so they should have something that fits your needs.  Find a used mono amp in the classifieds for ~$150-175  and build your own box and you should be able to stay within budget.</p></blockquote><p></p>
