Ok then lets compare how many cups the Wings have won since San Jose has been in the league. Sharks joined in the 91-92 season and the Red Wings have won 3 Stanley Cups since then. '97, '98 and '02. Don't get me wrong San Jose has had some good teams over the years but never a serious contender. This year could be different. What are you trying to say? The Red Wings are not as old as they were just last year. I think they will have much better legs this year come playoff time. As far as goalies are concerned, Hasek has looked very good as of late and so does Joey McDonald. Hasek only sits out the 2nd of back to back games. Other than that he's been very solid. Tied for the league lead in WINS, GA Avg. and SHUTOUTS. Not too bad for an old man. But stats mean nothing. Its what happens in the playoffs that matters most.
