Hey guys, I'm going to do my first sub install and I literally have no idea what all I am going to need to install it. I know I need an AMP, Sub (duh), Enclosure, and lastly Wirekit. so I have these four

Sub

Enclosure

AMP

Wire

Is that all I need and will it work good together? I know that Pyle AMP is cheap but I heard Pyle is good and it has a great amount of positive reviews for the price.... since I've never had a sub before and am on a tight budget keep in mind I don't need mind blowing bass just something better than farting while I listen to music haha

boss, pyle, power acoustik, legacy, pyle, lightning audio, spl, soundstorm labs, performance teknique, crunch, pyramid are all brands you avoid like the plague. Thats a general list of garbage brands you'd never ever EVER touch in car audio. Reviews on amazon are made by high school teenagers that are happy to have something that tickled their subs.

Sounds like you've never installed before.

I'd take it somewhere and have it installed because improper wiring and methods of protecting wire can result in a fire.

Since this topic isn't about how to install the system but rather what to get, it would be better to just go somewhere and have them do it for you.

Except the gp3kpro.

I wasn't going to say anything, hehe.. But i think the point Jeff is making is if these companies are willing to produce some models of poor quality, just save your time and avoid the entire company as a whole.

Some may not agree with this but since we are talking about Crunch, might as well do away with all amplifiers produced by Maxxsonics which include Hifonics, MB Quart and Autotek.

Sure people may like some of those brands and work but you don't know what you are missing if you never had it!
