Hey everyone! Just found this site and thought I'd join. I've been messing with car audio for about 20 years now and have seen and heard pretty much everything. Even in my old age I get louder and more extreme!

I'll be 42 this year and have the most subs i've ever had in a car, ever!! Just a quick history...

I'm married, have 2 kids; 5 and 7, 3 dogs; weiner, lab and greyhound. And of course, my baby, the 2003 Civic Si, pictured below:

But, the reason I'm here?

I just installed the new subs, replacing my 2 year old Elemental Design 13Kv.2's with something a bit more, well, powerful. And boy are they!

I put in 3 new 13Ov.2, v3 just last week. VERY impressive.

My system includes:

-Rockford Fosgate RFX8140: very old and still ticking...like me? Actually, looking to replace it with a high end SQ unit.

-Elemental Design NINe.2: 100x2 for the front stage and image kit

-Elemental Design NINe.1: for the subs, run in series seeing a 1.33 ohm load.

-CDT Audio HD6xx component set: Looking to convert back to 3 way this weekend. Again, about 10+ years old. Will consider the DLS Uridiums in the near future.

-CDT Audio UPStage image kit

-Audio Control EPI Center: Another very old piece!

-DEI 1 farad digital cap

Anyway, I'm looking for a new source unit and am open to suggestions. I'll post on this later...so many to choose from, just getting the right SQ will be hard.
