Here's my intro...

I'll admit, I am a casual car audio'er. I've never invested in a real high end system. but I have always had aftermarket soud systems in my vehicles. Been doing it since high school (mid 1990's). My first sub was a 12" radio shack special I got from a second hand store (unemployed at the time).

Best SPL setup I ever had was a pair of kicker 10" ported around 40 in the back of a mid 80's Camaro. Best SQ was a pair of 8w6's in an exteded cab nissan. Right now I have an ID10 in my Altima. All of these powered by an early 90's Coustic 380 Hexfet amp. Amp seems to be heading south, which brings me back to the car audio realm.

Browsing the forum gets me interested in having a "real" system again, but time, family, and money limits the possibilites.
