New tires for my van

I'm running 235/75/R15's on my 15x7 wheels now.

Where you don't have the sliding door to contend with, you could probably go to 245's easy. I couldn't fit the extra width because I needed the tire to fit reasonably inside the fender.

BFG makes a good tire, just be sure to get ones that are LT (light truck) rated...will help out if you carry anything heavy from time to time. I had a set of Uniroyals for about a year before I had two blowouts with them...now I'm back to BFG's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

first numbers are the width of the tire in millimeters, second set of numbers corresponds to the sidewall height which is a percentage of the width of the tire...say u have a 225/60/16 tire, that tire would be 225 mm wide, 60% (135mm) of 225mm height of the sidewall and last number is the rim size

I would stick with that size, if you wanna go a bit larger try a 285\75\16 .... If you can fit em maybe a 305\70\16 .... the 285's are just a little larger in heigth, the real difference is in the width
