Well, I'm not sure that I want to get a 15" L7 anymore. Anyone that has seen the back of a 2nd gen AWD dsm knows that there isn't much room. let me draw you all a picture. Those are just about the max dimentions without dipping into the spare tire well. Seems to me to be close to 4 cubes usable space. With the 14" heigth there is still a little room for air to move. I am thinking about using that box right there and having the sub(s) on the top firing upwards to the top of my trunk and my hatch glass the farther forward they are. Where it makes the jump from 14" to 20" is the start of my rear glass, all the way up to 24" leaving me little room to see out the back window. I would like to not have it go above the rear window, it will put me in a higher class for comps. Making it hard to see also. Where the box gets narrow going from 35" to 22" could be wider but I would have to build over a small bump because that is where my shock towers are and the plastic on them slopes down into the trunk/hatch. Also, there is a little room on the back of the box as the back of my car curves, leaving space to have a port be back there having enough air to "breathe". Money wise, I don't want to spend thousands and thousands of dollars. Probably not more than $1000 (just for the subs and amp possibly). I want to hit at least 150db in this car. A friend of mine hit 144.9db in a chevy malibu with 2 12" kicker comp vrs in a small ported box. If it was possible for them to do that, I want to beat that by quite a bit with my car. I'm hoping it won't be too hard considering that My car is tecnically a hatchback. Thank you all very much, Anthony I won't have the money for a little while yet. Although, if someone decides to help me out through this, to where I can get the most out of this type of setup. I will be willing to make a small donation for helping me as soon as I get some money. The reason I am figuring this all out now, is so I have a plan and know what I have to watch for good deals on I also want it to be removable if I need to remove it. Edit: Help me!!!
