ive burried 120 a few times in my 98 mustang. it was suppose to stop at 110 but it never did. in my 3000gt ive done around 130-135 once. but that was with my old transmission. my new transmission had 5th go out.

Believe me, mine isn't any better shape. Its a rusted out 89 4.3L Ext Cab 4x4. It was rather stupid...

Fastest I can confirm I've been in my grand national was 160 and still pullin (my speedo "only" goes to 160) Bout 125 in my van, 140 in my moms stock toyota solora v6 but it took forever to get up there. Highest datalogged speed I have in our f-350 was 135 before I shut it down.

Tried to figure it out, but the numbers seem to fast. Speedo was pegged at I think 140k/hr (which was completely out of wack after the motor and ****** swap, as per the ticket I got the first day after finishing). Using something like this to figure it out. Engine redlines @ 6k, but I would guess I was cruising at 2-3, in third gear which is a 1:1 ratio, rear end ratio is 2.41, and tires are 235/75/15 (probably about 28-28.5"). It was on an open staright 110k/hr highway with little to no traffic. I remember the couple cars I passed seemed like they were not moving. It was scary not gonna lie =) 80 caprice classic
