As mentioned above a good set of lowering springs is the most cost-effective, proper way to lower it.

Sometimes the different spring rates combined with the new ride height (compresses the shocks a little) can cause the stock shocks to wear out quickly.

Also make sure you get your alignment checked after the drop so as to save your tires.

 
It sits fine. I wouldn't lower it. If u do its not just the spring height, you need struts that were made for the lowering. If u just replace the springs or cut them, it struts will wear out quickly.
