New project just for fun !

I am planning to build a new spl system just for the hell of it ( and because I have nothing better to do ) . I am going to use my current amp , a Directed 2400D . I am planning on using 8 of the old 10 inch MTX 8000 series subs . I have the hook up and can get these subs for a sick price . I was thinking the box will be around 10 cubes ported , tuned to 30 hz . They will be in a Ford Focus ZX3 . How do you guys think this set-up will sound ? I have only heard these subs in pairs , but I always thought they sounded pretty good . I figure 8 of these on 2400 watts should get stupid loud ! Let me know what you think .
