For the second time, their is no, I repeat NO redone rsd models. It is all the same.

They arent redoing them, and the midrange cant be touched on that price standpoint on production components for the most part.
The MIDBASS of the PGs can't be touched in that pricepoint, but the midrange, to my ears, was a bit harsh and needed a lot of EQ work to mellow it out-- I found the vocals a bit harsh to the point to where I had to cut the midrange a lot, which gave the music a sound I didn't care for. But I am real sensitive to harshness be it the midrange or tweeter.

Depends on what kind of music you listen to. I listen to a lot of music that I could care less about the lyrics and am much more focused on the complexity of the instrumentalism. With these speakers I seemed to lose a lot of that background subtlety due to overwhelming vocal presence. That ended when I dropped the ID CTXs in. Again, to each his own, but I will challenge the statement that no speaker can touch the midrange on them at this price, because I actually prefer the $75 Cadence CWM6 midrange to these...RSD tweet is better though by far....

Def nice speaks for the $$$
