hi im looking to buy a couple of amps, just wanting to know the general opinion on the latest HCCA amps??? are anything like the old school stuff?....

no....thats not to say that it is complete junk, but it in no way matches the old Orion

to Zapco? Many brands. Arc Audio for obvious reasons. Old PPi. Sundown makes a great product..the list goes on

The newer Orion HCCA amps do look nice though, never used one mself.

Had an old Orion Colbalt 400 watt amp and that thing was awesome.

thanks for the input, what about the G4 series are they in the same class as the 2250 and 2100's? ive read the G4 were the last to be built in the US???

The G4 series was during a transitional manufacturing period. I have a HCCA 250 G4 that says this on the outside:

Nice to know that final assembly in the USA counts as "Made in the USA". Just ask Zed because he is milking that "Made in the USA" for all he can with circuit boards that were mass produced overseas!
