I have the Alpine PDX 1000 amp. It's a mono-block but has two speaker channels.  My subs are IDQ 4ohm DVC. I understand these speakers can be wired to 2 or 8 ohms each and if I had them wired to the same output they could be 1,4,16 ohms. What load does a mono amp see if you use both speaker outputs. Say for example each sub has the voice coils wired to 2ohms. If both outputs from the amp are used is the amp seeing 1,2,or 4ohms? Basically does the amp see the subs in series or parallel? Not sure if that makes sense and sorry if the answer is already out there and I just couldn't find it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
