new monitor ftw

what are the specs on ur comp.

and that monitor is WAY over priced..

u can get a legit *** 24 inch for like 350

unless u bought that like 4 years ago

Was a manager at a electronics retailer. Someone returned one and all they did was cut the tape holding the box closed. Fellow manager marked it down to a good price:D

If I told you what else I have gotten, you would cry

i would cry because u can relize how much of a markup that stuff really is.

they STILL make money on that shit even when u buy stuff and crazy prices like that:crazy:

Actually there is hardly any markup on computer electronics. If I got employee price on a monitor, I might get $30 off on a lucky day. I got this monitor wayyyy under what the company paid for it.

It's actually cheap for an IPS panel, not a TN panel that you're talking about. Need the IPS for color accuracy.

Specs:

EVGA 780i_SLI / E8400 @ 4.199GHz 1.41v

8GB RAM - 4x2GB GSkill PC2-8000 2.15v @ 1132MHz

EVGA GTX280 Core 216

CPU Cooling: Asus Silent SQ Evo

HP LP2475W 24" H-IPS Panel

Case: Coolermaster HAF-932

PSU: Tt Toughpower 700W-SLi

Windows Vista x64 / Logitech G7/G15

Audio: Onkyo 7.1 Receiver with Creative X-Fi Titanium

LOL, that's like someone saying, "That 12W7 sub is way overpriced. You could've got a 12" Sony Xplod for like $60."
Just because the size is the same, it doesn't mean the quality is the same. The LP series monitors from HP are PROFESSIONAL QUALITY MONITORS. A $350 24" monitor uses a shitty TN panel with terrible viewing angles, terrible colour reproduction, and terrible panel uniformity.

$625 is actually WAY UNDERPRICED for an S-IPS panel. Most 23"/24" S-IPS panels sell for close to $1000, some even higher than that.
