How good is Memphis and what is it comparable to?

Memphis actually makes pretty good stuff... they compare favorably to most products out there. They are a dealer based company, though, so are not that popular online. They are VERY popular at local retail shops, though.

So whats ur thoughts on it compared too others, and urs?
We clamped one too put out a ton of power, but it never metered louder than one of our 40.1s in the same setup.....not too clean of power is my thoughts.

I haven't messed with the new one yet beyond powering them on and making sure they have output... the old ones were a bit lack-luster on 12v but put out ALOT of juice on 16v in my experience with them.

I may do some testing with one of them before I sell them all just to satisfy my curiosity. Unfortunately I don't always have time to do extensive testing on all the cool stuff that comes through here.

that heatsink more effiecient than the prior one?

It appears to be -- all the FETs are attached to a pretty thick piece of aluminum and it is finned on that side. The old case didn't have much finned surface area at all.

Wow better powersupply fets. About time. Hopefully that amp is more durable than that sad excuse of a 4kw they used to make. Looks promising.
