I think you all are wasting your time now. You've made your complaints, so be done with it. If hes banned, hes banned. Just drop it. Who the **** cares. Did anyone get scammed? No. Most of you have a reason to be pissed but others don't. So far he hasn't scammed anyone and I doubt he will. Let him **** up. No one said you have to buy from him so if you feel he may be trying to *scam* you, then don't buy anything from him. Some of you in this thread are like the little girls pissing and moaning over a *scam* that never took place. Last time I check, selling bootleg's then trying to cover your *** because some little brown nose threatens with fake reports to authorities, wasn't a scam. He said they were bootlegs, therefore, the buying knew what he was getting. Isn't that in the buy and sell rules? Know what your buying? I'm not joining sides because I'm not involved. Just shedding the light on common sense alot of bandwagon flamers don't have.

I do have facts, I read the thread way before you did. He changed his answer because someone said he could get in trouble doing what he was doing and it was not worth buying because you can download them for free, which by forum rules is post dumping. He did what he did to try and cover his ***. I would have too if I screwed up like that. Wouldn't you? Like I said before, I'm just trying to make a point to you all, I'm not on anyone's side.

I think likely the Forum Classifieds' rule governing post dumping would be overlooked in the case of someone doing something that is obviously illegal ~ such as attempting to sell pirated movies for personal profit.

So, yeah, he got called out about it.

Rather than doing the reasonable thing and simply saying NeverMind - they're no longer for sale - he outright lied and made claims that they were legitimate store-bought copies.

So whatever the motivation might have been he was caught in an outright lie. More than once. Included in this string of untruths was the creation of another username entirely claiming that it was some friend and making statements that toughone was on the up-n-up.

Is this behavior that would normally be exhibited by someone you would get in a rush to engage in an online transaction with or knowing this would you avoid sending him any amount of money like the plague?!?

judging by your city of Akron(the same city numb nuts scammer is from), the only reason you are sticking up for this low life is that you are his friend or this is another one of his created names(which i doubt because you use correct grammar). does it feel nice to stick up for someone trying to sell highly illegal copies of dvd's? if everyone had your mentality of ohh he tried to scam but no one fell for it so it is ok, then this world would be even more f'ed up than it is. you are the prime definition of a moron. kill yourself:*******:

What my point is (and I think yours as well) is that the potential for tough to be a scammer is inarguably there and as such, knowing the regular member base's intolerance for scammers, he should be pointedly and regularly called out for it.

the only thing that majorly pissed me off was that he was found out about making the other screen name. ok he admitted to it, hes cool in my book. strike 1 for the boot leg dvds, strike 2 for faking to be someone else. but then he comes on this thread saying he never made the other name and they are his friends. strike 3 mofo, get the **** out
