Like keep the four 6.5" (door) just hooked to the head unit and put a two channel amp on the 6"×9" (rear deck) or put a four channel on the door speakers and a two channel on the rear deck. And if so what amp/amps (brand/wattage/channel).
Hi everyone. I'm new and i need some advice please. I have a pioneer avic 7100 nex installed in my 2012 altima. The head unit is 50w × 4. I have Two 6.5" speakers in the front door and two 6"×9" speakers in the back deck. And I want to put two more 6.5" speakers in the rear doors. The speakers are pioneer TS-A1675R 3-way TS coaxial speakers (6.5"=300w/ RMS: 50w & 6"×9"=500w / RMS: 180w per pair. So that would make four 6.5" totaling 600w/ RMS:100w & two 6"×9" totaling 500w / RMS: 180w (total 1100w / RMS 280w). I also want to eventually add in a 12" subwoofer or 10". Maybe two of each. But right now I'm wondering what type of amp to use with these speakers. Like keep the four 6.5" (door) just hooked to the head unit and put a two channel amp on the 6"×9" (rear deck) or put a four channel on the door speakers and a two channel on the rear deck. And if so what amp/amps (brand/wattage/channel).
