took my self off the serquel last night. i was goin to bed with it but sleeping only 3-4 hours up all night and eating way to much i would wake up eat icecream go to sleep weak up 20min later eat some chips etc . i cant live like that no one should i would b 300 pounds in no time like that thats not good for me. i have program tuesday im gona talk to some one i think the dr will not b in, good thing though im new to it so i should have no issue with not taking it. u guys see a issue after 4 days me stoping it on my own?

most of the antipsychotics..atypical or old school... will make you fat..

they all have weight gain as a side effect.

I've worked as a med tech (pill pusher in nursing home/assisted living) for 5-6 years and while might not have much in the way of formal medical training, i am not a stupid person. I graduated *** laude with a 3.9125 GPA with a dual major in poli-sci and soc. I plan on entering a doctoral program next fall.

I pick things up quickly and quite frankly most of the nurses i technically work under, treat me as an equal and trust my judgement on a lot of things.

lol i was sort of bummed when they gave me 120 Vicodin ES (7.5/500) a couple of days ago.

Mostly because for the previous month i was given 12-24mg of Dilaudid, which is about 8 times as potent as morphine, a day along with 30mg of Valium to go with it. That's a pretty hefty dose for someone who is not opioid dependent or managing a chronic pain issue.

I think i'm gonna ask for some Norco 10s (10/325) because really i'd rather take a little more hydrocodone and less Tylenol. I don't really like to take the maximum daily allowance of Tylenol, 4,000mg; i think it's probably worse for your liver than the extra 5mg of hydrocodone.

ya it was a rough transition, but at 12-24mg a day for a month, i think the surgeon was more than generous. Honestly it doesn't really hurt that bad anymore, but he's still giving me lots of Vics to save up for after a day at work when i tweak my back, or randomly twist an ankle.

You know the type of chit that you're not going to go in and see a doctor for, but is justifiable enough to take a vic or two before bed.

I am a firm believer in always having a few pain meds and sedatives on hand for a random night of insomnia or the above mentioned scenario. I dont abuse them or anything but the gawd dem "drug seekers" ruin it for everyone.

Quit being a pussy, just take a few ibuprofen. That's what I feel like the dentist was trying to tell me after 2 root canals in one sitting, giving me 12 5/500's. I almost felt like spitting in his face.
