Actually that doesn't look too bad. Does seem to be following in Pioneer's footsteps. My question though is what is up with the built in 25a fuse. What is this like an anti burb device?

its yet another sub that is being compared to the w7. i swear all the companies sweat it. like mtxs 9500. They even have the kenwoods coming out in a 13 and an 11...how dumb is that

maybe the 25a fuse is for the built in amplifier.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif the magnet weighs like 10lbs, if i recall, that really isn't that much for an $850 sub.(i may be wrong) and there seems to be a huge gap between the cone and magnet for such a small magnet. but it is a long throw woofer...

Whats with the dual 3 ohm coils? I don't know of any mainstream drivers, other than JL, that use 3 ohm coils.

I read on a different forum what the fuse was used for, sorry I forgot though.

Well, from my experience, Kenwood subs are horrible. I had the KFC-W3005s before and they sounded pretty **** bad.

i seen those at a local store but they didnt have them hooked up to listen to but they dont come in a 12" or 15" size only 13 and 11
