Message: <blockquote data-quote="gunz4me" data-source="post: 5813455" data-attributes="member: 596464">After all the Hifonics bashing I have done, I am considering a BXi 2010D to run my Digital Designs 1508s!  Since this is my last SPL build, I figured I may as well go with a lower cost Class D amp since I intend to use it for a year or less.  My reasoning is why should I spend the extra money on a "high end" Class D amp if I don't intend to use it outside of the warranty period?  Besides, in all the ragging I have done, I have come to realize that they are not bad for the $$ paid!Also, I never thought I would need to run 1,000 watts RMS to a pair of 8s or 1,500 watts RMS to three 8s.  If someone would have suggested that I would be running this much power to 8" subwoofers ten years ago, I would have laughed in their face!</blockquote>
