Message: <blockquote data-quote="cleansoundzz" data-source="post: 5807894" data-attributes="member: 589711">Let me clarify something.  I was wrong to compare Hifonics to Targa and Pyramid or even Kole Audio.  I know shops that carry Hifonics the Brutus and Zeus lines and I have seen 1000 watt Kicker, Fosgate or Jl Audio amps consistenly outperform the Hifonics 1608, 2008, 2608 amps.  That tells me something.  While Hifonics isn't that bad, for the money there is much better out there and you won't see people running those same amps 10+ years down the line because they are not those type of amps.  They are good low budget, decent power for people starting out in car audio.  The XX line is top notch and deservingly so.  They are built to last and are very very well made.The Hifonics name was built by Steven Mantz (ZED Audio) not Maxxsonics.</blockquote>
