Im working on trying to sell my MTX 7515 and Powerbass ASA 600.1(600@2 0hm) and want to buy a new sub and amp. I have a scion TC so im trying to decide which I would be able to get the full potential of and sound better with. I would have to measure to be 100% accurate on space available.

Anyway, I am now debating either to go with 1 15" or 2 12" woofers.

If I get the fifteen I am looking at I will be running it at 1500-1800w rms. Not sure on how big the box can be but I want it to be around 32hz tuned as well.

If I go with 2 12's I will run 1200w rms at 1 ohm and stick with low tuning.

I want to keep the total cost of sub(s) plus amp ~ $800. Don't mind buying used.

Right now im looking at AudioQue, Powerbass, Sundown, DC, and SSA

What do you reccomend?

He could..just a recommendation..nothing wrong with either amp,,or subs for his budget..continue on with recommendations..mine shouldnt be the only one..lol

I would recomend the b2 qoutta 1200 rms amp. And there are a handful of good 12s u could run. Dc lvl 2's, sundown sa series, incriminator audio lethal injections, ect ect.

It seems that everyone thinks that 2 12's would definitely out perform the 15 even if the 15 is getting more power..

Still so lost on what to buy :/

Thanks for those links, I am really liking that amplifier quite a bit. Dont know too much about the AB woofers though. Care to give any insight?

12's are more cone area and probably more motor force overall. I prefer single sub set-ups though.
