I may have been exposed to that. not too sure. A while back Honeywell sold a building and the new owner came in and began ripping the vynal tile off the floor. they found asbestos in the mixture and had to do all sorts of crap. In the same time I was working security there and had to patrol the area and interior and exterior patrols. Maybe I breath in that chit then...

Ive ripped up thousands of square feet of tile myself, at work when the company I worked for was retooling a new facility, that the tiles were made of asbestos. I doubt if you were simply patrolling the area you were exposed to any dangerous levels of the substance. But you never know I guess.

edit: If they were reasonably smart, they at least kept the tile wet while tearing it up, as this would minimize airborne fibers.

lulz, I once worked at a plant where they had lead dust in the air 24/7....had to get my blood tested weekly.

yes actually, i've got both hips replaced. Its a real pain in the *** to go thru the airport screeners.
