New England Heat Wave...

Heat index is around 110 degrees right now. Sure I am nice and comfy right now in my air conditioned cubicle but going home and deadening the doors is going to be real fun in a couple hours.

How's everone else "chillin" up here in the North East or wherever its hot.

mm heat index of 115 or something news said, have to go work in a non airconditioned factory soon for a couple hours without any windows just 3 doors that stay open, talk about hot

I work in Westboro (right next to Worcestor) but I live right above Lowell. I could just stay at work til nightfall but I really must finish installing the Rainbows. It wouldn't be fair to them.

try having 30-60 days straight 100+ w/ humidity making it feel much much worse then come talk to me

i am in NY for vacation right now. im from the bay area cali and its much cooler than it was home when i left it was 118 for about a week so this is nice to me lol

If you get used to it then it isn't that bad. I went to India for a one-month vacation during the hot season (avg. is 100+ degrees). Over their, A/C is a rarity in the average home and we had to stay in one of those homes without it. About a week into it, I just dealt with it and got accustomed to it.

Now on the other hand, having an average of 80 degrees for a few weeks and then jumping up to around 100 for three days can be painful.

How harsh are your winters?

average low in the coldest part of winter can be in the teens for a week or 2 at a time. but here recently they have been very mild, like in the 40's most of the time with an occasional cold few days
