Message: <blockquote data-quote="jimmyjames1700" data-source="post: 1564804" data-attributes="member: 558886">Eclipse Techs have their heads so far up their collective @sse's it's rediculous.  I once talked to Thilo Stompler and Steve Ponte, the men behind the Ti, and they both recommended smaller vented enclosures.  Like in the neighborhood of 1.75ft^3 net tuned to 35Hz.  In all honesty, I prefer it in vented enclosures smaller than that.  Trust me, I've had it in a .75ft^3 sealed, 1.85 ft^3 @ 30hz, 1.55ft^3 @ 33hz, and .75ft^3 @ 40hz.  The last two have sounded the best overall.The response of this sub just becomes more and more peaky around tuning when it is loaded in a larger enclosure.  If you ever have any questions about box designing for this sub, give me a hollar.</blockquote>
