Well spring is right around the corner, so my install will start soon. I have an Old set of CDT ES520's which I really enjoy. However before I start my fiberglass work, I want to be sure I have the right speakers. Here goes...
I am running a 5 amp system, so I will not need passive crossovers...
I do not like the (Old) style CDT tweeter and one of mine is broken, so the tweets are getting replaced anyway, probably with a DRT26.
This leaves me with just what midrange to use?
I am running CDT EF8's for midbass in the doors, so this woofer would only be resposible for say 250-500 and up to tweets.
I have heard new CDT ES's are out, but have also heard the 07 4" mid is nice. Anyone out there heard these and could give me any input? Should I change out my 5.25 or just stick with them?
