I posted this over on my other frequent forum, and the opinions were mixed. I figured since you guys all have your own favorite brands and whatnot, i'd see what you all think.

Head Unit: Eclipse CD7000

MSRP- 699.99. In my opinion, the best looking deck i've ever seen. I like the memory stick feature, as well as this thing integrating with my steerign wheel controls.

Components : Eclipse 6.5'' components

I work at circuit city, so eclipse is a must. these bad boys MSRP for 350, and the price i got them for was impressive.

Comp Amp: Infinity 4 channel

Im not sure of the model number, but again acquired through cirucit city. It does 111 watts x 4 channels. Im considering upgrading this to a kicker ZX Series amp.

Sub: Type-R 15''

Thats all i have to say heh..i put it in a box i had built for a treo-SSI and it looosened it. Sub Amp: Elemental Designs nine.1

i've had this for a little less then a year. solid performer for the price. plus the 3 year warranty is good. Considering upgrading to a kicker Zx2500.1

Big 3 done in 0ga

Main battery replaced by redtop

possibly sirius radio

and the sub box: TCAB.

what does everyoen think of this setup. Comments as well as flames are welcomed, as i like to hear what everyone thinks.

Sounds like it could be pretty decent. Must have some shitty *** installers where you work...If you're gonna pay like $300+ for a tcab instead of have a CC installer make one for what, $50?(assuming you get discounts on labor as well)

i got a pretty good deal on the box. our installers are always busy and none of them have time to do stuff outside of the shop. and just for the record, that box was NOT built by the circuit city roadshop. ive seen some of the work they do and its pretty impressive. its a shop in pa that built the box.

I have never really been a fan of eclipse components. I would grab some Rainbow Soundline SLC components or step it up a notch to Germaniums
