i think the video makes the sub look better then the pics i took. Also, if this motor was on a 12, and im SURE someone will be the first to get those soon, it will look like a monster.

Can anyone comment on the mounting depth of these? I am curious to see if it would drop in place of my old model BTL, I should have gotten a pic when I had the port out.

But, basically my current BTL has about 1/4inch from the corner of the motor to the bottom of the box, you cant even slide your hand under it.

I am wondering if this larger diameter motor will fit in if the mounting depth is less. Otherwise I would have to come up with another baffle and re-do a ton of work.

it is about 3/4" shorter then the old BTL....when side by side, it comes right to the bottom of the black rubber boot around the basket...

Worst case scenario I have to make a ring to pull the sub out another .75 inches, plus with the chamfer on the bottom of the motor I think it will have even more clearance.
