so im getting a dc 2.0k and they recomend a upgraded battery in the front and a battery in the back. so i was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction as to what i need?

depends on your budget.but the biggest you can fit under the hood and a group 31 in the back

This but you don't have to go as high as a group 31 but it sure can't hurt. I have a yellowtop and xs power d5100 that seem to be working great for my 4 channel and 2.2k sub amp.

i dont want to spend to much but dont want to buy $hit either i dont really know the price on batteries so i cant really suggest a budget

look for the c&d batteries or the deka's, they are priced better

Pick up a batt from Ram_Designs. I just got one, great batts and great price!

Depending on your alternator size, I wouldnt go too big on the batt, since your alt has to keep them both charged, unless you plan on charging them yourself every now and then.

i am going to purchase a 200 amp alt, i was hoping to just get some decent deep cycle batteries from an auto shop, but dont really know what to look for in a battery. spending 5-600 bucks on 2 batteries sounds a little to high of a price for me
