My amp also goes into protect at around half volume, and i've set my gains with a dmm, that's with the car on, I have a sucky alternator but I think it's cause battery loses voltage and what not. I have the chance to get an optima redtop 850 amp battery for $78, but I don't know if that will help my voltage drop with the car off and I don't know if that will stop my amp going into protect, will getting this battery help me?</p></blockquote><p></p>
