Maybe I had a bad first run batch I do not know. But they will only take about 300wrms before things start to get ugly. I had them in a 1.5cf box tuned to 35hz each. They sounded fine until I started putting on the power. They were really starting to move and get loud with 600w on each but after 5 min you could start to smell the coil heating up and the front of the sub was warm. So I swapped amps and left them at 300w each. I think for a SPL sub they fail but they might have some promise as an SQ sub in a sealed box with 2-300 watts. I still have one of them that I am not doing anything with that I might play with some day and make a sealed box for it.What is your goal? SPL or SQ?</blockquote>
