Well I got my 2200D today and hooked it up to my 2ohmDVC 12" type r's today wired to a 2ohm final load meaning they would be getting 650rms a piece from the aq. Set the gains with a dimm and -3db 50hz test tone w/ 3/4 head unit. Waited for 51V to show up on the dmm and stopped raising gain. Listening to songs, there is not that much improvement over the Alpine M850 that I had before....is this normal? I think my box is the weakpoint...yes I know its "prefab" but its not bestbuy prefab junk: http://cgi.ebay.com/DUAL-12-ALPINE-TYPE-R-BOX-SWR-1222D-SWR-1242D-4FT-3-32_W0QQitemZ360059852488QQihZ023QQcategoryZ50566QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 looking at the specs of the box do you think that is my weakpoint? oh BTW: lpf at around 100 subsonic at around 30 remote gain @ max any ideas? Thanks!
