From there I am running a JVC 500 watt mono sub amp and a Rockford fosgate p500x4d which is a 4x75 watt amp for the 6.5 inch speakers. The head unit is a Sony marine m60. After this install, the sub works wonderful, but the Rockford fosgate speaker amp has never left protect mode. I have checked all connections at least 3 times, to no avail. Even when the speaker wire and RCA cables are unplugged from the amp, it is still in protect mode. Any thoughts on what the problem could be?
