Hello everyone....I am extremely frustrated so I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue...did a recent install on a pontoon boat...from the battery I have both negative and positive 4 gauge wire running to two distribution blocks near my amps. From there I am running a JVC 500 watt mono sub amp and a Rockford fosgate p500x4d which is a 4x75 watt amp for the 6.5 inch speakers. The head unit is a Sony marine m60. After this install, the sub works wonderful, but the Rockford fosgate speaker amp has never left protect mode. I have checked all connections at least 3 times, to no avail. Even when the speaker wire and RCA cables are unplugged from the amp, it is still in protect mode. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? Thanks in advance for any help you provide!
