New Albums (Surpised me)

I havent really looked into much of the new music lately, but a couple days ago I searched fye and grabbed a few albums.

How I got over by The Roots

Pursuit of Nappyness by Nappy Roots

Recovery by Eminem

All three of these albums were pretty good to me. The Roots stuff is very good...maybe better than some of their previous albums?? Nappy Roots surprised me and I think they did a good job. I like it better than their previous albums also. Eminem's stuff was alright to me. I love his lyrical ability, but i just wasnt feeling too many of the songs on here. Ill give it a few more listens to see how it goes, but its not all its been talked up to be to me.

I also grabbed Jack Johnson's To the Sea and Lil Jon's Crunk Rock. Jack's new stuff was alright. There is a little more electric influence which is alright, but I think i prefer his acoustic things. Lil jon had decent bass and is something you could throw on at a party for women to dance to and let the whole CD ride out to have a good time IMO.

Nice to go out and buy some more cd's and honestly I am pretty happy with everything. Just in case anyone is interested in them...

Yea I have to listen to that Roots cd they're really good. I like Eminem's cd a lot better than his last two. I also really like Nappy Roots but haven't heard the new cd.

i picked up the Recovery album as well as the new Drake Thank me Later album....i like them both. Em really stepped his game up fro Relapse, the worst CD hes ever had.
