Ok, well here's the situation. I have my router located on one side of the house in the computer office room, and then I have my room located on the total other end of the house. After being fed up with wireless Internet connection, I decided to buy 100ft Ethernet cable and run it through my attic down the wall, under the rug to my computer in my room on the other side of the house to make it a wired connection.
Now here's the question, I have my ps3 that I want to hook up to the network/Internet which is in my room, I don't want to have to buy another 100ft Ethernet cable $65, and go through the hassle of almost dying in the attic to run the cable, then find the correct wall to put it down to pull it out next to my tv in my room. Is there such thing as a Ethernet Y-jack, so that I can plug the Ethernet cable from the ps3 in my room (5ft away from the computer) into one side of the jack and the computer Ethernet cable coming from the router on the other side of the house into the other side of the jack, and then plug the other end of the jack into the computer itself. Is there such thing as this Ethernet y-jack, or any other suggestions?
Thanks
