k got it downloaded now im still having a problem downloading cd's. I did the nero system check and it says my computer is burning at 48x and its the only 1 there. I dont want it this high do i? my cd's are only 32 x if i got 52x cds would it work then?

It's CD based. 52x is right at the physical limit of a common CD. I'd rather write slower to ensure the data gets on the CD correctly.

I THINK that is the max speed. Processor usage, CD, etc. determine what the actual speed is. You should be fine.

If you have 48x as an option and you put in a lower speed CD it will adjust the speed accordingly.
